Hi Lee,
Right, I understand what you are asking. Unfortunately, the code that is used to convert the IEnumerable objects to a DataTable is a bit deep, and not easly done, without major refactoring.

It would probably be easier, if you had a unique key on your object, and that key was converted to a column in the DataRow. Then, you could traverse your collection until you find the object that matches the unique key.
